This is an on-site position in Middletown, PA General
Responsibilities:
This position will prepare monthly journal entries, both reclasses and accruals, and the related account reconciliations for assigned accounts.
Assists with Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting, including assembling financial data, lead schedules, and other information required for the submissions.
Maintains the entrance fee amortization schedule for each of the senior living campuses and reviews requests for entrance fee refund payments.
Develops queries, standardized financial reports, and other schedules in the General Ledger system in response to requests from Finance leadership or operational users.
Assembles budget files and supporting schedules, and assists with resolving questions or issues raised by operational team leadership during budget preparation for senior living and HUD lines of service.
Assists with special purpose reporting and analysis as requested by management and program staff.
Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination Program-need covid vaccine card or file for an exemption.
This position will be supervising/overseeing AP positions.
Education/Training:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field of study required.
Experience:
A minimum of three-four (3-4) years of experience working with established accounting procedures in an automated environment preferred and prior supervisory experience preferred.
